How to install Windows 11 without TPM and Secure Boot?
Method 1: Avoid TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot Windows 11 requirements via Registry Editor
Step 1: Press ‘Windows + R’ keys on keyboard, type ‘regedit’ in the opened ‘Run’ window and hit ‘OK’ button to open ‘Registry Editor’
Step 2: In ‘Registry Editor’, navigate to following path in left pane
Step 3: Right-click on ‘Startup’ key in left pane, and select ‘New > Key’ and name the key to ‘LabConfig’ and hit ‘Enter’ key to create the key
Step 4: Now, in right pane, right-click on empty space and select ‘New > DWORD (32-bit) Value’, name the value to ‘BypassTPMCheck’ and hit ‘Enter’ key. Repeat the same step to create two more values with ‘BypassRAMCheck’ and ‘BypassSecureBootCheck’ key
Step 5: Once created, right-click on each key one-by-one and select ‘Modify’, set its value to ‘1’ and hit ‘OK’ to save the changes. Repeat the same steps for all created keys
Step 6: Once done, close ‘Registry Editor’ and restart your computer and try installing Windows 11 and check if the issue is resolved.
Method 2: Modify Windows ISO file
You can also try to install Windows 11 without TPM and Secure Boot by modifying Windows 11 ISO file
Step 1: At first, Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft Official page and then download Windows 11 ISO file from Windows Insider Preview
Step 2: Once downloaded, double-click on Windows 11 ISO file to open in ‘File Explorer’
Step 3: Go to ‘Source’ folder and copy ‘Install.wim’ file and paste the file to ‘C:’ drive of your computer. Click on ‘Continue’ at ‘Destination Folder Access Denied’ window appeared
Step 4: Now, download and install ‘NTLITE’ in your device. You can visit ‘https://www.ntlite.com/download/’ page to get the program
Step 5: Open NTLITE and select ‘Free License’ and hit ‘OK’
Step 6: At ‘Image’ tab, click on ‘Small’ arrow at ‘Add’ button and select ‘Image file (WIM, ESD, SWM)’
Step 7: Select ‘Install.Wim’ file from ‘C:’ drive and hit ‘Open’. Click on ‘Ok’ at warning message
Step 8: Now, right-click on Windows 11 version that you want to install and select ‘Export > ESD’ and hit ‘OK’ to confirm
Step 9: Select to export (save) ‘Install.esd’ file in ‘Downloads’ folder and click ‘Save’ and wait for the operation to complete
Step 10: Once done close ‘NTLITE’ program and right-click on Windows 10 ISO file and select ‘Extract its contents to new folder
Step 11: Find and delete ‘Install.esd’ file inside ‘Source’ folder
Step 12: Now, copy ‘Install.esd’ file from ‘Windows 11’ ISO and paste it inside ‘Windows 10/sources’ folder
Step 13: Once done, you can try installing Windows 11 and check if the issue is resolved.
How to install Windows 11?
Step 1: Explore the modified ‘Windows 11’ folder that you modified using above method and run ‘Setup.exe’ file
Step 2: Follow on-screen instructions to finish installation. Once done, restart your computer and check if you have successfully installed Windows 11 in your device.
