More about associated devices

Apple allows you to have ten devices, no more than five computers, associated with your Apple ID for purchases at a time. You can’t associate an already associated device with a particular Apple ID with another Apple ID before 90 days.

The list of the devices associated is different from the list of the devices you are currently signed in with your Apple ID.  If you are not using a device anymore, or if you don’t recognize it, you might want to remove it from the list.
