  1. Open Windows Setting by pressing Windows + I key simultaneously.

Windows Registry is an advanced level tool build for administrators to modify the processes of Windows Operating System. You can use this tool to turn off the keyboard sound.

Registries store info about processes of Windows and programs. Using Registry keys the information is stored and by editing related keys you can change the working of certain programs and Windows process.

Therefore, we highly recommend you to create a backup before editing because if anything goes wrong it can affect the stability of the whole system. It you made a backup of your registries, then follow these steps:

  1. Open Run dialogue box by pressing Win + R key at the same time.
  2. Type regedit and click OK.
  3. Once inside the Registry Editor window, go to this location HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7
  4. Select “1.7” from the left side menu.
  5. Now anywhere in the right side menu, right-click and select New > DWORD (32-Bit) Value.

  8. Click OK and exit the Registry Editor.
