Method 3: Enable Tamper Protection feature using Registry Editor
You can enable Tamper Protection feature through Registry Editor app in computer.
Step 1: Open ‘Registry Editor’ app in Windows PC via Windows Search Box and go to following path in left-pane
Step 2: Find and right-click ‘TemperProtection’ registry value in right-pane, and select ‘Modify’. Set its value data to ‘5’ and hit ‘Ok’ button to save the changes. Once done, restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
Method 4: Remove DisableAntiSpyware registry entry
Another way to fix the issue is to remove DisableAntiSpyware Registry entry in computer.
Step 1: Open ‘Registry Editor’ app using above method and go to following path in left-pane
Step 2: Find and right-click ‘DisableAntiSpyware’ registry value in right-pane, and select ‘Delete’ to delete it. Once done, restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
Method 5: Use Microsoft Intune
Organizations that use Microsoft EndPoint Manager or Microsoft Intune can enable/disable this feature on their computer. So if you are not the administrator of Windows 11 device you are using, then mostly likely this feature is greyed out. You can use Microsoft EndPoint Manager Admin center or Microsoft Intune in your computer to enable this option, and then check if the issue is resolved.
Method 6: Reset Windows Security
Another way to fix the issue is to reset Windows Security in Windows computer.
Step 1: Open ‘Settings’ app in Windows PC via Windows Search Box and go to ‘Apps > Installed apps’
Step 2: Find and select ‘Windows Security’, and click ‘More Options’ icon and click ‘Advanced Options’
Step 3: Click ‘Reset’ option and confirm resetting, and once done, check if the issue is resolved.
Method 7: Perform Clean Windows Installation
If the issue is still persist, you can perform clean Windows OS installation in computer to fix, and then check if the issue is resolved.
